   I reserved a table at The Chophouse to celebrate my bday with friends. What a mistake! We arrived early and got seated right away which was pleasantly surprising. Our server was V and she was very knowledgeable and friendly. She shared the happy hour specials and definitely knew her liquor and prices. So far so good but once we ordered that’s where it went down hill. The restaurant was out of several items and some didn’t make sense. “We’re out of shrimp tacos” but we have the shrimp appetizer? “We can’t make a non-spicy Bloody Mary” uh couldn’t you just use plain tomato juice and not load it down with pepper and hot sauce? They were also out of Mac and cheese. After 4-5 people having to change their order our food came out and my filet medallions were overcooked. They were well done and I asked for medium. My other friend’s filet didn’t even come out with our food and the manager came out and apologized but how did we miss an entire order? By the time dessert came around I was so irritated I just wanted to get out of there. Then my check comes and my drinks were overpriced. Your menu with the QR code says deep eddy is $9 and I was charged $12 per drink. Needless to say my party was at the restaurant for 2 hours and I was so disappointed. I feel like the whole thing was lack of management cause our server was so nice. Hopefully things improve cause we drove 30 mins from our neighborhood tonight 😞

   Our waiter, Dj was quite good. It did seem like the runners were a bit disordered as our entrees arrived before our salads, and it took. while for our dessert to arrive. Overall though the experience was quite nice. Our only real issue (which wasn't under the control of the restaurant) was some other guests who had some very strong perfume/cologne.

   Husband ordered medium rare steak. Came out seared and RAW on the inside. Not even rare. Waitress took it back and the chef put it back on the grill. It was cut, so it cooked unevenly… Drinks took some time to come out. Waitress asked us if we were ready for dessert before my husband even got to finish his steak…

   Excellent dinner, perfect service. Our waiter was fabulous. I wish I had gotten his name. We were sitting on the bar side. We will be back !

   We started with drinks and spinach Queso dip with chips. Served 4 people generously. Filets cooked to order, very tender. Pork chop with apples was delicious . Plentiful salad and hot baked potatoes.

   Sad to say the one special night for my wife and I wasn't the one we expected. We had dinner at the Chop House several times before and loved the Rib Eye Steak. The Steak we had on Valentine's night was a surprise to say the least, we had ordered the Steak Med. With Blue Cheese butter, when served the steak was completely covered very thick Blue Cheese butter we had remove the excess to get to the steak, in addition the steak was prepared med rare also we couldn't enjoy the steak because of the excessive amounts of grisel and or being tough.,

   Our server was amazing. The restaurant is decorated so nice. We sat in a booth which was extra special. The prices were a high, but it was our 38th Anniversary dinner. Just sorry we weren’t offer a free dessert. Oh well

   We had planned to celebrate Valentines Day. Our prearranged reservation was honored at the scheduled time. Seating time was minimal, and the waiter's attention to detail was spot on. His name was Gabriel. He always assured us that he was ready and willing to get us whatever we would need. The meals we ordered were delicious.
