Established in 1992 by Mike Connor with the help of family and friends, The Chop House® has become one of the premier casual restaurant concepts in the Southeast, with 12 locations spread across 4 states.

Our number one goal is to provide a superior dining experience to every guest. We do this by providing guest-obsessed service and generous portions of delicious food using the freshest ingredients.

    Seating was prompt with online reservations. Our server was prompt taking our order. However, I did not get my soup until everyone else was nearly finished with their salad and that was after reminding our server that I had ordered a soup. It did come out warm. My husband and I ordered a ribeye. The ribeye was tough to cut and too much fat. Surprising for a steak place. Would not recommend the ribeye. Have had better ribeye from Costco. Everyone else’s meal was above average.

    My husband and I had our 1st anniversary dinner tonight. It was perfect! From the door, kitchen and floor, service was all around 5 stars

    Was really expecting more. The food wasn’t good it was very loud inside the restaurant. I had to remind the waiter that I had ordered a salad. My wife was finished with her salad as I was still waiting on mine to be served.

    Our waiter wasn’t attentive. He made sure to service the tables around more than he did ours. I get if people are not having a good work and then sometimes you have to work through it but it just wasn’t a pleasant experience. We were there for my mom’s birthday and it just didn’t feel special. When he asked my mom if we were ready to order, she said yes and then the next thing I know he’s over at another table..what was that?? And it seemed we had to ask for everything when he would come back to the table because we didn’t know when we would see him next. We frequented Chop House right when it opened here and I’m sure the restaurant has seen lots of servers come and go. It also needs to see some of the furniture come and go too. Our tables were two different shapes, making for awkward seating. The chairs were wobbling and the table cloths were dirty. Customer service is getting out of hand these days. It just wasn’t a pleasant experience.

    Waiter took forever, kept forgetting our drinks, I guess she had a lot of tables but was good after getting our food out . Overall it was a good experience…

    The cheese sticks were the best thing that we had. The chowder was ok. Baked potatoes were good, but the ribeye was in a sauce that was over powering and the horseradish in the filet was tasteless. Our server was attentive, but the food was lacking. This is not a place we would choose to return.
