   Great local place for amazing food. Didn’t appreciate being asked to move tables halfway through our dinner. I said no and didn’t move. What a buzzkill to a great night celebrating my mom who is 88. They should know better.

   Service: The server missed many things throughout the service time. The requested sugar and lemon was not given when the tea was served. No lid on the hot water so the water wasn’t / didn’t stay hot. Server forgot my guest’s drinks, Didn’t give me the correct sauce for the fish I ordered. Forgot to give my guest a different salad dressing as the champagne vinaigrette was extremely oily. Food: the fried oysters were excellent. The 2 entrees Diver Scallops ordered by my guests, were very good but smaller than expected and the sear was missing on a few of them The family style string beans were excellent The Brussel sprouts were extremely oily. Didn’t opt to take them home. So food was largely very good with the exception of the sprouts. But service killed the experience we anticipated for the evening.

   The setting a view are perfect for those that want to dine by the water. We were there around 7:45PM on a Wednesday evening. Their crab dip and meatball appetizers are great. The meal was so so. Not terrible, but average. The service was spotty, but not terrible. For instance what is the market price for crabs?, waiter said let me me find out, waiter comes back and says ready to order? I asked about the price, he walked away and came back with the number. Outside of this all we very good. What I presume was management was present and active in helping clear tables and keep things running smoothly. Could have just been a long night for the waitstaff. Will eat here again and is worth a visit but pub food at best with a grand view.

   Great attentive and friendly service. It was also my wife’s Birthday and the staff went out of there way to make sure we were all comfortable and they brought a complimentary dessert for my wife! Food was fantastic as well!

   I stated it was a anniversary expecting some type of acknowledgment from the restaurant. Sadly, none was offered.

   We visit Choptank often. It is our "go to" restaurant when we host guests. It is wonderful that Marco the manager always remembers us. He sees the reservation name and visits the table. The servers are always in a good mood and you feel welcomed. Our visit on the day after Valentines still served the Valentine limited menu. There was plenty to chose from. We started with Oysters that were wonderful. The only flaw in the meal was the stuffed baked potato was too salty. It was cold and rainy outside but the vibe inside was cozy. Highly recommend.

   Our server was amazing! Gave great and accurate suggestions for our first time. Completely understanding! Manager checked up on us. We were never stuck just “waiting”. Food and drinks came out at a reasonable speed. Wonderful environment. Would go again!

    I had salmon and it was outstanding, I ordered a lemon sauce with it - very tasty. Attentive service. Had oysters too - also very fresh. My wife had a seafood medley which she enjoyed. They had live music - the guy was very good! The dining experience made our Valentines Day special. Place is rather expensive - appropriate for special occasions.
