The ambiance, with its cozy yet elegant touches, sets the perfect tone for a memorable meal. The beef Wellington was a highlight—perfectly cooked, with tender beef encased in a crisp, golden pastry that melted in the mouth. Equally impressive was the butter chicken pot pie, a delightful fusion of bold Indian spices and comforting, flaky crust that elevated a classic dish to new heights. For dessert, the sticky toffee pudding was pure indulgence—rich, moist, and paired with a luscious sauce that left us scraping the plate. What truly set this evening apart was the service. Our server, Linda, was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm, ensuring every detail was perfect without ever feeling intrusive.    I recently had the pleasure of dining at a this remarkable restaurant, and I can confidently say it deserves a perfect 10 out of 10 stars. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism. Our waiter, Michael, was exceptional — attentive without being overbearing, making sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with a charming ambiance that made us feel right at home. It was the perfect setting for an evening out. Now, let’s talk about the food. Every dish we tried was absolutely delicious. The Beef Stroganoff stood out as our favorite, with tender meat in a rich, flavorful sauce that left us wanting more. The crispy rock shrimp pasta was another hit, with just the right balance of textures and a taste that was both fresh and satisfying. And if you’re a fan of dessert, the Sticky Toffee Pudding is a must-try — it was beyond worth it and the perfect sweet ending to our meal. Throughout the entire experience, the staff was exceptional — friendly, helpful, and attentive, ensuring that everything went smoothly.    A new favorite. Love everything about this place. Amazing experience for foodies and special occasions. Interesting menu, and very course has such depth of flavor and is incredible. Cocktails that are neither sticky sweet nor too tart. Unparalleled service. Sumptuous atmosphere. I love everything about this place and don’t begrudge paying the bill one bit - Chumley House is exceptional.

   The food and atmosphere are excellent. The service needs work. The bartenders were busy chatting with each other and not paying attention to the customers at the bar. We had to interrupt them and ask for what we wanted to order. Table service was better, although we had to ask for more wine to be poured. These are very basic service issues. The restaurant is small and a bit noisy so be prepared for that. We have a very loud table of 6 next to us that were yelling at each other unnecessarily, but no one in management seemed to notice or care. Perhaps really good service is all but gone these days. Perhaps the masses should tip accordingly instead of the standard 20-25%.

    The service was amazing. Our waiter Matt was very attentive, knowledgeable and helpful. Everything we ate was delicious although my spaetzle was a little on the salty side. Love the atmosphere, felt super cozy.
