Using Fresh and Locally sourced ingredients, The Church inn provides a menu of down to earth pub classics, perfect for snacking on with drinks or enjoying a hearty meal amongst friends.

Nourishing pies and traditional British desserts are served alongside an extensive selection of wines, beers and Ales for lunch an dinner.

                                              Welcome was good and seated rapidly. Good choice of wines and ales available. Food was good with the only issue being that the steak and kidney suet pudding did not contain any kidney.

                                              Great food. Lovely crispy batter on the fish. We were upstairs away from the noisy drinkers around the bar.

                                              The Church has always been a good place to eat, nice surroundings, quality service and good food. Unfortunately last night the food fell short of its normal high standards. I had ordered the steak and kidney suet pudding, which I found to be mostly thick suet and (compared to my expectations) not enough meat. My three partners all had fish, one fish pie and two fish and chips and all commented that their fish was dry. The service was excellent, and requests for slight changes to our order were all dealt with perfectly. Our meals did not warrant a complaint, but we all felt the quality was slightly lower than normal.

                                              A genuinely friendly restaurant pub, with superb service, good food and a nice atmosphere. The locally produced snails in garlic were a rare treat.

                                              Generally good until the main course then forgotten for desserts/coffee. Had to prompt for a menu after waiting. Tired after Xmas busy & new staff? Service is very good with the one lead waitress but falls short when she was on a break. Not the usual quality & promptness. Thanks Liz
