   We went here first time Feb 15th 2025, for our 28th wedding anniversary. We had a very nice corner booth. They provided an anniversary card, then during dessert after the main course they designed an anniversary note on the plate out of chocolate, very nice touch. I had a 6 ounce sirloin, a potato , lobster mac and cheese, my wife had the shrimp dinner entree. It was perfect… all of it.. Thanks for your attention to detail and making this a very special night for us both.. we will definitely return

   Wonderful food but overpriced based on the atmosphere etc. Service was wonderful as well. Wine was fairly priced.

   We had an awesome experience! The food and service were top notch. Our server was great. She joined in on the fun and gave us more laughs. The ambience was great with the oranges splashed throughout the restaurant and the lighting being just right. Will definitely visit again.

   Outstanding. I read the reviews before choosing the Citrus Room for date night and it absolutely didn’t disappoint. The ambiance is really cute and gives a nod to not only the charm of the older building but the orange groves that used to thrive all around this part of Florida. The food was just fabulous. The salads are simple but delish (try the house vinaigrette!) My husband had the delmonico and it was seared and cooked to perfection (medium rare and would say it rivaled some of the more well known Tampa steakhouses). It nearly melted in your mouth. I had the branzino and it was cooked perfectly and was served with a wonderful red pepper sauce. The baked potatoes were a hit! They are perfectly fluffy and served with a sidecar of sour cream, beer cheese, scallions and real bacon pieces. Dessert is included with your entree (how clever) so we tried the coconut crème brûlée and the lemon cake. The brûlée was outstanding. Would go back just for that. The lemon cake was good, however I wish fresh raspberries were used in place of the preserves. My only criticism is that I would have loved to have a bread basket at the table instead of hand served around the time of the salads. This isn’t enough of a drawback to take away any stars, just something I wish would be considered as we would have loved to nosh on those delectable pretzel rolls while deciding on our entrees. If you are on the fence or have been wanting to try CR, just go. You won’t be disappointed.

   Experience was excellent all around. Had a great evening with my husband. Food was excellent, portions were perfect. House salad dressing was amazing. Intimate setting. Drinks were delicious as well.

   A true gem in Dade City. Lovely tables, excellent service, and superb food, especially the steaks. We have eaten at fine restaurants all over the world and can't think of one to top this one.

    Excellent experience. The only drawback is that CR lacks some of the traditional steakhouse options like steak fries and/or onion rings. However, the quality of the experience augmented by the presence of the mom and pop that run CR, dwarfs these minor and easily adjusted issues. We will be back with friends next time.
