Good but didn’t have the vegan item we went there for. Service is good but slow.

Two of us ordered the Padang Currie. It was bland and just a lot of rice and green and red peppers. The third in our party had the pizza. It sounded so good on the menu. Hand stretched in a 700 degree oven. It was a small doughy flatbread. The management took it off the bill. That was good. Unfortunately we left hungry, as we had a show to go to.

Truly, the best meatballs and a must while in Ottawa! Moist, tender angus beef nestled in a deep rich San Marzano tomato sauce accompanied by the most buttery toasted focaccia for sopping up all the goodness! The KFC cauliflower also exceeded our expectations! Not drowned in a typical jarred buffalo sauce but rather spiced to enhance and not to hide the flavours of this brassica. Our server made every guest feel like a VIP. He was very prompt, polite, extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the food, wine and cocktails. 10/10. Well done. We will be back!

Went for brunch. I don’t think they really understand what people are looking in a brunch. The menu is heavy on poached eggs. The serving sizes are too big for the average person (ie. Clarendon or English breakfast) or two small to be a meal (waffles, which came with a paltry amount of fruit). Dishes that should have come with a side of toast did not (smoked meat hash which btw was also pretty devoid of smoked meat. The service was uneven. One in our party asked for pepper so they brought pepper but no salt. Odd. Coffee was served with exactly the number of sugar you requested. refills on coffee was not offered. When you asked for it you also had to ask for more sugar. Toast was not buttered. Butter wasn’t offered and again we had to ask. The food wasn’t bad but I likely wouldn’t go back due to value for money. They isn’t a lot for them to change to be a great bunch spot but they are important things.

Lovely atmosphere. The service was a bit slow but the drinks were very delicious. The food was good but overpriced for basic food with some added garnishes, it felt like.

Average food, subpar service, and ok ambience. If you’re in the Byward Market and want just a drink it’s an acceptable option but definitely not good for a meal.

We had a very enjoyable meal. Nice restaurant. Our server, RJ, did a great job and accommodated our special requests. The Mezze Platter was fabulous and we also enjoyed the four cheese pizza which was a very rational portion. Good value and we will certainly return.

The food was good but portions are not very generous. The menu felt a bit too summer-y as there was lots of cold dishes (like salads, etc), while it was already a cold autumn day. The ambience is nice, but it was already too cold to sit on the terrace which is even nicer.
