A very pleasant surprise and a real gem in Covent Garden. I eat out 3 - 4 times each week and mostly around CG and so am always looking for somewhere new. I'd not seen The Clermont on Open Table before and gave it a try. The setting is superb and the food was good along with the service. I will go back again and may even make it a regular. The one issue I had was that once I had my main course I was forgotten and waited over an hour for someone to offer dessert or coffee, but it didn't happen and so I eventually got the bill and left. I did actually wonder if they served desserts as there was no mention on the menu. I am sure they had coffee and would have enjoyed that last hour a lot more with a cup in front of me. So, I'll go back next week and try again and hopefully be offered more than one course. As for the score, it would have 5 stars across the board if not for this minor glitch.

This is a beautiful restaurant. I went for lunch with a friend and we were both very impressed with the decor and overall comfort. Service was excellent and I would like to mention our waitress Renata who was particularly attentive and professional. The food on the whole was good and was very good value. I will certainly return as the afternoon tea looked particularly inviting.

Very enjoyable, friendly staff, nice atmosphere & made it special for my mum by bringing her birthday cake when finding out we was celebrating her birthday.

Afternoon tea was excellent plenty sandwiches superb scones nothing to much trouble. All served by Rosy who was 5 star.

We are regulars here, since before lockdown. Our recent meal, first after lockdown didn't disappoint. Very comfortable seating, very pleasant surroundings, very good standard food, good service.

We enjoyed our meal and visit very much. The hotel interior is beautiful and well looked after and the bar restaurant reflected that. The staff were super and attentive. It was a brief haven from the hustle and bustle outside and was perfectly positioned for a relaxed meal prior to Attending the theatre.

Daughters 16th Birthday. My food arrives late and was a bit salty. They happily removed it from the bill.

Quiet oasis but very central right on Charing Cross station good all day menu food good quality ideal for our four generation family meal Shame our order got confused and they were not busy otherwise service very good Will return and recommend
