Awarded ‘The Best Pub or Bar in Coventry & Warwickshire 2022’ at the prestigious Foodie Awards, The Coach House is a must-visit pub! Located in the heart of Stratford-Upon-Avon, on Rother Street, it boasts over 475-years of history between its characterful walls. Recently refurbished, the welcoming décor pays tribute to Stratford’s most famous former resident, William Shakespeare as well as incorporating a nod to its owners, the historic Brewing House, Davenports which was established in 1829. You can expect great ales, whilst the attractive central bar is well-stocked with popular spirits and boasts a super cocktail menu which are freshly prepared to order. Choose to dine in the comfy snug or around one of the tables indoors, there’s also a wonderful garden terrace with heaters to the rear, and alfresco tables on warmer days to the front of the pub. The food menu never fails to impress, with a focus on quality, locally sourced ingredients.

Absolutely phenomenal. Couldn’t fault service food or atmosphere. Provided a high attention to detail which was very appreciated. Excellent value for money too.

A great place to have dinner or lunch. Very friendly staff, food quality was top and reasonable prices. highly recommended.

Fabulous little pub in the heart of Stratford . Beautiful food, excellent service and great vibe! Would highly recommend to those in the area.

Staff couldn't do enough. Beautiful inside and out. Very cosy. Food good value and tasted lovely. Would go again!

Not our cup of tea. Had 1 drink and then left. Felt like just 1 step up from Whetherspoons, which is fine if thats what you like but just not for us i'm afraid.

Lovely building, cosy and well decorated for Halloween. Atmos was spoiled by the football on screen. Staff at the bar were not very attentative, a bit miserable. I was confused by the service style, table or bar, I was able to order at the bar but then was asked at the table if Id ordered. The food was nice but wasnt asked if itnwas ojay or if wee needed anything esle. A shame that a welcoming historic building actually had an unlpleasant atmosphere. And I will never agree with dogs in a restaurant so I wouldnt go back.

Booked an early evening table for 6 which we were able to keep all night. Good choice of food on the menu and good sized meals. Staff were brilliant, looked after us all night. Singer was also great, an unexpected bonus. Would highly recommend Coach House

A Thursday lunch-time and virtually empty but still took a while to catch attention at the bar. Were told that menus were on the table. Made our choices, went to order but only then told of quite a few items not available so had to choose something else. Poor choice of main course fish. Ordered more drinks with the food and even though the bar server kept leaving the bar to go outside still just left our drinks on the bar without bringing them to the table. Couldn't split the bill at the till leaving us to make calculations. Did not live up to reputation.
