   Beautifully updated and tastefully decorated space. Greeted kindly by professional staff and escorted to table with lake view. Wonderful recommendation for service for two, and started with a couple of fabulous cocktails. Ended the evening with a delicious dessert and an overall lovely experience!

   Such a fun family night thank you. We enjoyed the new menu from start to finish. The menu paying homage to other restaurants is a delight and the WI touches duly noted (Schlitz on tap!) There are whispers of supper club but this is way too elevated for that. Service was charming and helpful. The backdrop of Jay’s decor, again so evocative of WI and the WI art is so appreciated. It all frames the food and the experience so well.

   For such a. Beautiful high end restaurant, the quality of the food should have been better. Ribeye at $76 is not prime and it was tough and not very flavorful

   The restaurant is beautiful with good service. The salad - perfect and the ice cream was delicious. However The flavor of the steak was not what I expected. Fatty. German flavor. And huge! I cut it in half and it was still too much. And I am not a small person.

   We requested a specific server, who was off that day and I was glad to hear she didn’t have to work Sunday. That should have told the powers that be that we were familiar with and somewhat regular. Also requested a lakeside view. Several tables facing the lake remained empty almost an hour after we were seated in another room but I could see those empty tables. Two of our party had gotten drinks at the bar and carried them to the table. The other two of us sat for 20 minutes or so before we were asked what we wanted to eat. We reminded them we hadn’t even gotten drinks. The rest of the meal went pretty well and food was delicious. That being said, one of our party received a desert she didn’t order and when the butterscotch pudding finally arrived, it tasted like a box of jello pudding with whipped cream on top. Not what I would have expected but the coffee pudding was delicious. I think continued growing pains and this was only the third or fourth brunch week they were serving. If you’re going to use a team concept, the lead should take charge. For over $300 for breakfast, the process needs to be tightened up.

    Quality and Consistency is an expectation of all Bartolotta and The Commodore checks the box’s for all of those. The setting on Lake Nagawicka is the bow on top. Our daughter’s wedding reception will be there next year and we are so excited to know that every detail will be covered.
