The Commoner in Downtown Pittsburgh is open for business!

At our gastropub, we don’t distinguish between commoners and kings; we just want to feed the good people of Pittsburgh. In the restaurant, seasonal menus add a modern flair to classic comforts, complemented by a robust selection of local beers and craft spirits. It’s all served in an industrial-inspired setting in downtown Pittsburgh. Come and join us for an uncommonly good time.

Their seasonal menu always has a nice variety of seafood, meat or vegetarian options. Their drink and beer list is great. They also know that some of the diners are off to theater or a sports event so they get you in and out. Will done again.

Nice little find while in Pittsburgh. Got the "off menu" burger and it was killer. Spicy Crab and Potato appetizers are large and delicious.

I love the off menu Wagyu Smashburger is always a 20 out of 10. The service is good, but not particularly warm the past couple of times I’ve been there. It’s a little bit offputting, but I would definitely go again for the food and I love hotel Monaco .
