   Great little place. Friendly staff, very helpful. Nice food and the best zero IPA I have tasted! All good value! The whole place seems very well managed.

   Lovely place to dine. Nicely decorated friendly staff and really great food. We had a pork Sunday roast and a vegetarian nut roast with a side of Colli cheese was absolutely delicious. Will look forward to going again.

   We were there from 6:45 until 8:50 in that time other than the initial question do you want any drinks we were not asked, we had a 2nd drink as I went to find a server. Our food came out very fast, my partner ordered gammon the eggs arrived 5 minutes later with an apology that the chef forgot. My Mum’s pasta was very dry. My Thai curry was tasty but vey little, sauce & the chicken was lukewarm & just on the top, couldn’t eat the prawn crackers as undercooked.

   Food and service very good. Greeted as soon as we arrived and shown to our table. Staff attentive but didn’t feel rushed. Definitely will be going again.

   Food quality, service & ambience all excellent but lighting could be dimmed a little to make the atmosphere better and like every where these days, there was very little conversation beyond the bare minimum from the staff. Would definitely return.

   The food here was amazing, good portion sizes & great quality. I do think it was expensive at £17 for a burger and chips and have to pay an EXTRA £1.50 for cheese. That's naughty! Staff were attentive but not overbearing. Coffee was amazing! Overall really happy with our experience - Thank you Congesbury arms!

   We were unfortunately a little bit disappointed with our visit this time around, after visiting several times for a Sunday roast before which has been 10/10 we had high expectations for New Year’s Eve. We had checked out the menu online before hand which differed to the menu on the night (appreciate online menus are quite often samples an updated frequently) but the menu on the night had less options available and in our opinion weren’t as great. After studying the menu we chose starters and when ordering we’re told these has sold out so had to choose something else, the alternative we chose was still nice. The mains were average and one of the options chosen was fish and chips with triple cooked chips, when ordering this we were told these TCC were sold out so would come with normal fries, on arrival it had come with the TCC however they didn’t seem to be cooked fresh and tasted like they had been cooked a long time before. The other main was a beef burger which was quite over cooked and dry. We didn’t choose to have desserts this time around. Sad that this time the food didn’t seem to be as high standard as normal.

    Fantastic gluten free experience always, the sticky toffee pudding was indistinguishable from a gluten-containing equivalent and it was beyond delicious…thank you!
