   We were unfortunately a little bit disappointed with our visit this time around, after visiting several times for a Sunday roast before which has been 10/10 we had high expectations for New Year’s Eve. We had checked out the menu online before hand which differed to the menu on the night (appreciate online menus are quite often samples an updated frequently) but the menu on the night had less options available and in our opinion weren’t as great. After studying the menu we chose starters and when ordering we’re told these has sold out so had to choose something else, the alternative we chose was still nice. The mains were average and one of the options chosen was fish and chips with triple cooked chips, when ordering this we were told these TCC were sold out so would come with normal fries, on arrival it had come with the TCC however they didn’t seem to be cooked fresh and tasted like they had been cooked a long time before. The other main was a beef burger which was quite over cooked and dry. We didn’t choose to have desserts this time around. Sad that this time the food didn’t seem to be as high standard as normal.

   Fantastic gluten free experience always, the sticky toffee pudding was indistinguishable from a gluten-containing equivalent and it was beyond delicious…thank you!

   Starter floating on soggy bread not toast, ordered hake for main; waitress came back to say none left so ordered liver only to be told that was off too. Why cant we be told when we are seated what is actually available from the kitchen? I had gammon as about only thing on which was very small piece and not very tender, husband had HEC and the ham was only 50% meat, rest was just fat, would never have served it up as looked disgusting, certainly not value for money. Ordered icecream/sorbets for dessert, came floating on a saucer as had obviously been left under pass lights and virtually melted. Even that was not flavours we ordered. Very poor. And then when the bill came to add insult to injury, we were charged for the hake which we never had, worst meal we had out in 2024.

   Service from kitchen a little slower expected in view of number of customers, table service fine , attentive and pleasant, food very good quality, nicely presented, overall good values for money

   Nice menu, well cooked. Lovely staff and comfortable surroundings. Expected restaurant prices. I enjoyed the meal and will go again.

   I took two friends for lunch here. We were served quite quickly and all enjoyed the food cooked for us.

   Last minute booking on a busy December Thursday evening. Great Service. Very good quality food. Will definitely remember for any future Bristol Airport trip as much better to stop here and fill in a few hours and eat decent food than arrive early at the airport.

   Sunday dinner was dreadful - the worst we have had for a very long time. Absolutely tasteless, the gravy was just brown water. The single dessert we ordered was better in fairness. Service was good

    Food from festive menu was excellent. Sat in a quiet area, which we requested, but it was a little cold, as the radiator was turned off.. Would go again for the good food and service, but would ask neat time to be seated in a warmer area.
