The Courtyard Bar and Restaurant Deal specialises in elegant dining that will have you feeling all kinds of special. Located in the town centre along Sondes Road, this chic restaurant showcases an exceptional array of seafood, cocktails, wine and more. This Deal restaurant and bar has prime position overlooking the picturesque seaside which is an idyllic setting for sipping on a chilled wine and tucking into freshly shucked oysters, seafood platters and pasta. For us, there’s nothing better. This Courtyard Oyster Bar on Sondes Road is perfect for getting your best friends together and treating yourselves to something that little bit special. One of our favourites, this spot definitely deserves a reservation.

Wr are usually very happy with the courtyard which is why we come back. Wr always eat there for valentines too But this time we felt our mains were not worth the price. The chicken I expected to be breast and wasn't also wasn't much there. I had to pick about with it my partner ordered veal which wasn't the taste of veal and could have been beef. Apart from a slight hiccup with the drinks where we ordered but by the end of the meal they hadn't arrived but was still on the bill. I can understand it was a busy night though and these things happen. Otherwise we enjoyed the evening. There also wasnt the choice for dairy free as there is usually so we didnt have a sweet. sadly think the prices for what you get now is not great.

The staff were all very cheerful and helpful; the service was swift but not rushed; and the food was delicious. Well done everyone.

Great service. Lovely food, especially the “magic egg” Not rushed at all. One of our favourite places to eat

Such a lovely restaurant. Food is excellent with a variety of great food and drinks.Staff are so polite and attentive The ambience is fabulous. Look forward to our next visit

Nice welcome Quick to take drinks orders and food orders Food was pretty good although my soup was only lukewarm Think a lot of the menu is very overpriced now despite quality being a little less good Service was fine

This was a celebratory meal and the food was excellent, although there seemed to be some confusion as the website stated a set meal price for 2 or 3 courses but this wasn't the case when we arrived, although in fairness the manager did apologise and allow us to have what was stated on their website. Turning to the staff, with the exception of Matt, it really was hit and miss, with some very erratic behaviour from one member of staff, and sadly because they are very young and inexperienced the service left little to be desired - perhaps we had a bad day but service is really important. The ambience was nice although we couldn't hear the live singer in the back room which was a shame. Overall fantastic food, the roast dinner was superb, but service let it down.

As usual very happy with our Sunday lunch couldn’t fault it, service was excellent as usual and came lovely and Hot! The only problem there was a Baby shower in the back room and obviously instead of waiting for service for the bar they decided to queue right behind our Table and proceeded to talk about giving Birth not something you want to hear when your Eating!

First time visiting here but certainly will not be our last. Absolutely beautiful food, well presented and so tasty. Thanks for a great evening.

A most enjoyable evening. A delightful setting, lively atmosphere with tables not too closely spaced enabling easy conversation. The food was interesting and well prepared and the service prompt but not pushy. Certain prices quite high but enough range to accomodate most purses.
