We were half an hour early for a dinner reservation as we were hungry. We were greeted quite rudely. We were seated in a wind swept part of the restaurant. The waitress was friendly as she took our order. My mojito was possibly the worst I have ever had. The food was very pricey and the serving sizes were very very small. There is no value for money in this restaurant. The mojito chicken breast was a tiny serve with less than 1/2 thigh in it. Our shared paella was bland and so underwhelming. The children nachos - tortillas were burnt and without meat as stated in menu. Very overrated Cuban food. Sadly as we hardly go out as a family. Pricey and would not recommend to anyone. No warmth at all and I am not talking about the wind. We left lots an our small shared plate. No staff member asked what we thought of our food or experience…they must know and not care that the food and ambiance is way below average.

Cuban took a late booking when turned away from other restaurants nearby - friendly greeting on arrival Lovely surprise -interesting menu, flavours and quality of all the food we ordered were excellent, selection of wines, service was attentive and efficient. Great dinner and will go back.

A great experience staff amazing and despite being a chef down, we were kept informed and it was handled well

Great food and very friendly, helpful staff. We will definitely go here again. We have 4 different tapas and each one was so good.

The cuisine was refreshingly unique and every dish was completely devoured with gusto. The cocktails were enjoyable and can be described similarly to the food. All set near a QLD beach and hard to beat.

One of if not the best meal ever had the salmon cook perfect and blended incredible with the corn base. Outstanding. Craig

Restaurant ambience was just perfect. The variation of foods were delicious and drinks fantastic. Will absolutely visit again and again.

Ordered a main meal , 12 hour slow cooked wagyu beef for a dear $36. It was tasteless, no spice no flavour, the salad was cheap and flavourless. It all felt like something I could’ve thrown in the slow cooker at home and made with no effort

We had a beautiful evening at the Cuban for our 33 years wedding anniversary , wait staff were outstanding , attentive and cordial , food was amazing , atmosphere beautiful, cannot thank the Cuban enough.
