The Culinary Academy is Noosa's leading Commercial Cookery and Hospitality training institution. Visit Culinary Noosa, the open-to-the-public training restaurant for a quality meal at a great price!

Our weekly menu is designed to match the student's learning outcomes and to evaluate specific skills.
We often offer at least 2 options to choose from.

Currently, we do not have a vegetarian option on the menu, but we will introduce one as soon as the training curriculum allows it.

*Due to the busyness and rush at payment time, there is now a "Sorry, no split bills" policy.

Our culinary experience today was a lovely surprise. Our waiter Nilton was attentive and lovely to speak with. Our entre was a lemon risotto w/ a half bug tail. Served hot and cooked perfectly. Creamy with just the correct amount of lemon to complement the bug tail. Main was a Mediterranean tartlet w/a pesto sauce and fresh rocket. Great presentation. The pastry was crisp and the vegetables and pesto sauce was again done exceptionally well. The traditional beef stroganoff was w/ a mushroom cream sauce. The pasta hand made. Great texture. Dessert was yoghurt Bavaria, delicious, with biscotti unfortunately the biscotti wasn’t crispy, only a small thing. We will definitely return. Thank you to all students. We really enjoyed ourselves.

The Acadamy is producing a fine call te of chef and waitstaff. All should be proud of the result.

Menu looked exciting, we shared everything 50/50. Entree, souf;e was the winner, taste wise although wasn't very fluffy. Mains of Lamb and beef were so so - the raw chard was horrid- use another vegetable. Was really looking forward to deserts. Donuts were heavy and claggy. Crepe Suzette, was cold and the orange segments were full of pith. This is a teaching academy - teach students how to segment an orange! Even better send them to Flos down the road to taste what a good suzette should taste like.

Booked for the fish menu. Was a perfect experience, I honestly enjoyed every part of the menu. Great value and it allows the new chefs to practice their skills. The Hd chef came to our table for a chat which was very cool to see her big smile after our compliments. Well done. We will definitely be a repeat customer.
