   Fabulous Sunday lunch, hot, and really tasty. Staff were really friendly . A really enjoyable couple of hours.

   A lovely place to eat. Always a warm welcome. A great menu, with a nice, wide range of interesting dishes to choose from, all prepared with top-quality ingredients.

   A Fantastic Dining Experience at The Daffodil Inn We recently visited The Daffodil Inn in Penrhiwllan and had a truly enjoyable meal. From start to finish, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with friendly staff who made us feel at home. For starters, we were impressed by the beautifully presented and flavorful dishes—each one prepared with care and using fresh, quality ingredients. They were the perfect way to begin our meal. The highlight of the evening, however, was the boeuf for two. It was cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and packed with rich flavors. The portion was generous, making it ideal for sharing, and it came with well-thought-out accompaniments that complemented the dish beautifully. The setting of the inn added to the experience, with its cost yet elegant ambiance and stunning countryside views. It’s clear that The Daffodil Inn prides itself on both its food and its hospitality. We’ll definitely be returning and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-tier dining experience in the area!

   The pork belly starter was 5* and the initial drinks were great, nice to have a choice or selection. Was presented with Martini instead of Martini Rosso when ordered but soon rectified. The table of women next to us, a bit rude and obnoxious. Probably a table of Karens.

   We thoroughly enjoyed our meal here last night, from the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome. Our host, Huw, was charming, extremely knowledgeable & very professional, his lovely wife, Jill, also came to our table to see if everything was ok. The food was delicious & presented well, they were so accommodating, we will definitely be returning. If you haven't tried The Daffodil I urge you to so the whole experience, the food, the staff, the décor, the atmosphere certainly gets my vote! Thank you for a wonderful evening and for helping us to surprise our friend on her Birthday.

   Amazing food again today! Sunday lunch is exceptional and we can highly recommend. Most of the menu has a gluten free option to which is fabulous. The staff are all very attentive, helpful and friendly. Thank you to all the team.

   Delicious Sunday lunch today, tasty and plentiful. I have given 5 stars, although there was no cauliflower cheese, we did not realise we missed it until discussing on the car on the way home!! The meats were cooked perfectly, between us we had chicken and rib eye. The service was fantastic with pleasant and helpful staff.
