The year was 1943, and Jim and Alice Wimmer decided to take a big risk, buying a small existing roadside restaurant known for its char-broiled steaks. How fitting that in 2018, the restaurant's 75th anniversary year, the third generation of Wimmers, Amy Wimmer, takes the helm from her father Jeff and his wife Jane, bringing her own adventurous spirit to the Del-Bar, the same kind of spirit she so admired in her grandparents.

Having grown up in Wisconsin Dells & now living in the Twin cities, we love to dine out. I have yet to find a Supper Club that matches the overall experience that we get every time at the Del Bar. We make the trip several times a year, to see family & we love to visit the Del Bar. This place is second to none...Food quality ,value, service, and a friendly family atmosphere, we always linger longer than we plan.. When in Wisconsin Dells, go experience the very best ..

We visited The Del-Bar last night and we’re glad we did. Cool vibe to the place, service was very good, and so was the food. We’ll visit again if we’re in the area.

The overall experience was good and we would eat here again. We got the cheese curds, crab cakes as an appetizer. Both of us got the filet for an entree with mashed potatoes. The potatoes were the show stopper! Cheese curds were very good better than most you get in the area! Crab cakes were good. The filet wasn’t as good as we were hoping for. It lacked a good crust and flavor like you get from Double Cut.

Excellent beef filet and shrimp! We had the best server and wonderful cocktails too! Highly recommend!

The amazing craftsman type architecture is beautiful, the service is amazing and the flourless chocolate cake was amazing, The service was also amazing our server Chelsea got our orders in fast and was very helpful overall it was a great dining experience.
