   Had lunch with two friends and the food was great. Crispy chicken burger was really tasty and crisp, schnitty was great and salads were fresh. Lunch specials came with beer too for $25!

   If you don’t mind the short drive out of the city, it’s a nice new eatery with sports bar, which is still appropriate for families. Reasonable price- $25 for steak, chips and veg/salad with a drink on a Tuesday night. Great find!

   If I had one word to describe every visit it would be "awesome". Consistently great food, lovely staff and a restaurant that prides itself on making sure you're well looked after. The venue is also impeccably presented. We couldn't have asked for a better 'local'.

   Be cautious ordering the steak, ordered Medium Rare and came out so well done it would bounce if dropped on the floor. Mash was over seasoned and the veggies must have been forgotten in the steamer/blanching pot. Not a pleasant experience to celebrate an achievement, ruined a night.

   The Denman Kitchen is an awesome place to get quality food in a small pub setting. I love the atmosphere.

   We had reserved a table but there was no table reserved for us when we arrived. We were told we could sit in a booth in an anteroom or a table by the window in the bar. The menu was different to what was online and we found out that was the cafe menu and we could only order from the bar menu at the register. We needed to wait for someone to come in from the cafe to order from that menu. It’s supposed to be one venue I thought. The cafe menu items came quickly. My BLT was stale. The other meals were fine. The bar menu item - a burger - took forever and we had finished our meals before it arrived. The floor in the booth area was very dirty with food all over it. I’d have thought that given this group have venues across Canberra they’d have their business model sorted but our experience was very poor.

   Delicious tender eye fillet, huge local wine selection and my friend loved the burger. A great new place for our local dinner.

   Go for the chippies, desserts, wine list and the mushroom entree. Beautifully little venue with a relaxed vibe, but fancy feels.

    So pleased to have a fantastic restaurant close to home. Staff were knowledgeable about the food and the Canberra based wines. Chefs use of mushrooms was really interesting and lovely. Service was prompt and friendly. The ambiance was lovely and the booths comfortable.
