The Derby is more than a restaurant. Established in 1922, it has been family owned and operated since 1951. It is a grand museum showcasing some of horse racing’s greatest moments. Diners are invited to take a break from the rush of modern life and travel back to the time of George Woolf, Seabiscuit, and relive the excitement of “The Race of the Century”. We excel in offering the best meat and fresh seafood hand selected by our longtime executive chef that would delight even the most discriminating of taste. Some of the menu highlights include the Bacon Wrapped Filet, Delmonico New York, Prime Rib and Shrimp Scampi. We offer a wide selection of wines by the bottle and by the glass. Relax and enjoy a delicious meal in one of our iconic red leather booths, take in a beautiful evening on our terrace, or watch a sporting event in our bar and lounge. There was a bit of a wait even though we had reservations. The waitress seemed to be very busy. I had to ask for fresh ground pepper, it wasn’t offered.

Great time. Wonderful service. Wonderful food. From the moment we were greeted at the door until the time we left, (and we were not rushed out of there) every employee we encountered was friendly and cheerful. It was nice to go somewhere that the employees were happy. Desiree helped us through the menu and made helpful suggestions. Our first time there - definitely not our last.

Felt discriminated against our server ignored us until another server took over thank you to him for trying to turn our experience around. But overall felt unwelcome sucks because seen another table they were of Asian ethnicity and they two were being ignored. It’s just sad the world we live in. By the way, me and my wife are Latinos

This is an amazingly beautiful place that has a phenomenal wait staff. Thank you time and again. The only thing i would like to see changed is cutting the ribeye thicker. It should be no less than 1 inch thick to get a good medium rare.

The food was delicious! Prime rib was tasty & prepared perfectly. French onion soup was so yummy. Service was spot on, friendly & attentive. The Derby never disappoints.

Amazing food, service and ambience. It was our first time but will not be our last. The set price menu was wonderful and I now have dinner for another night as well. Thanks to Reuben and staff for great service!

The Derby never disappoints! Bailey gave our table of four outstanding service. The food was delicious, especially the calamari. The fireplaces were roaring and the entire place decorated beautifully. We were enjoying it all so much, we stayed well into mid-afternoon.
