The Dick Whittington Tavern is an iconic pub in the Melbourne suburb of St Kilda. Trading since 1861, this traditional corner hotel continues to entertain locals and their loved ones, creating a colourful history as it does. Throughout the 150 years of trade, the building has been restored and its look changed, however it’s essence and love of a great time definitely hasn’t. The team at The Dick pride themselves on their familiar and down-to-earth pub approach, complimenting our promise to provide traditional pub meals and a wide variety of beverages to suit all tastes. Hi, The food was delicious and well priced. A couple of noisey people speakly very loudly. I dont understand why the staff can't control that. We ate, then left. Thank you.

Main dining room is comfortable and there is plenty of space between tables. Low noise enabling conversation without having to raise ones voice. Friendly wait staff.

I've been there heaps in each section but hadn't sat to eat for a while and it was lovely and we had a great time. The two-three staff were so helpful and appeared to be going out of their way to work hard and get things clean for us and we felt very looked-after.

The service and food was excellent! The staff were friendly and attentive, and the chefs were able to accommodate a special dietary request with ease. It's a lovely bistro restaurant which is spacious but cozy at the same time. Will definitely go back again.
