For over three decades, The Drover has been the place to go in Omaha, Nebraska for a good steak. The rustic, vintage decor and dim lighting adds to the traditional steakhouse ambiance. Reservations are encouraged at The Drover due to its popularity.The signature whiskey marinade, available on cuts, such as the filet and the ribeye, is what sets The Drover apart from other steakhouses in the area. this was our 1st visiting Ohama google steakhouses Drover came so, we thought we give it a try……we were happy with our decision we will come back when we are in the area

The Drover has always been excellent. Our most recent visit there was not up to the high standard we expect from this restaurant. We went for our anniversary and wanted to order our usual, whiskey filet and crab legs. Sadly, crab legs were not available. The blue cheese salad dressing was not as good as usual—tasted very bland without a hint of blue cheese. The sea bass was very bland and without flavor. That is probably why it was served with tartar sauce. Overall, not a great experience. We will probably try another visit in the future. If that is the same, we won’t go back.

my bone in ribeye tasted good but seemed small for $65 someone at my table got a regular ribeye and it was $10 cheaper but the same size as mine. wife’s steak came extremely rare , last time we were there they re fired it twice only to bring it to dry lump? Why is medium so hard? Mine was mid rare perfect.

Host gentleman was excellent. Servers were going thru the motions ... may have had too many tables. My Asian wife felt looked down upon by servers. Food was really good overall and prepared well.
