                                                    It was extremely busy but having booked a table upstairs we were away from the crowds. Service was a tad slow but overall no complaints. Good tasty food and drinks selection was ok

                                                    OK food but the 10 of us picked a midweek visit and it was a bit quiet. Service was also OK - would go back

                                                    Friendly staff and great beers on offer. However, we booked a table in the dining room as we had a business dinner, but were only told when we arrived, that the dining room was booked for a private function and our table was reserved in the middle of the bar area. Could have put us in a quieter area and had better service but we were eating in a pub with bar staff not waiting staff, so the focus was not on diners. A shame as we were looking forward to dining upstairs. Food was OK

                                                    Lovely pub, very clean. Food was tasty although plates are small for the price and most dishes require ordering sides to be a meal
