The Duke has been a core part of Hampstead life since 1721 and boasts a rich history and heritage.Now, after a brief period of restoration, the pub has reopened under the management of Hampstead-born brothers Ben and Ed and their childhood friend Adam. The boys have given the beloved local pub a new lease of life, with a brilliant bar offering, relaxed, vibrant spaces and a food menu that shows off pub grub at its best.
The pub is also home to the Hampstead Jazz Club, one of north London’s best new music venues

We enjoyed the specials: pork belly and the pie were great and exceeded our expectations. The staff was considerate and friendly.

Excellent service all round. Very warm and welcoming, good sense of humour, with delicious food, couldn't ask for any more.

Great ambience, fantastic food (we had the goats cheese with pearl barley and the bavette steak) and appropriately attentive/helpful staff. Couldn't fault our meal there.

Walk across the Heath to be met by lovely staff who welcome you and fantastic food.

Good but not great, have had a better roast dinner elsewhere for the price. Having booked way in advance, was rather disappointed at having been given a corner table by the toilets. Otherwise, a good pub with a lot of potential.

The food was excellent, staff were friendly and service was good. It was a bit chilly even inside which affected the ambience a bit. However, I must highly rate the excellent selection of doggos, best boys and girls. 👍
