   The Eagle was a wonderful place for lunch. I had the fried chicken blt and fries and it was delicious. My friend had the fried chicken sandwich and absolutely loved it. Gabby provided great service, and all of the staff was very friendly. We will be back!

   Nice place! Immediately seated. Very clean, not a large place so you don’t feel too crowded. Our waiter came over right away but after we received our order, they disappeared. We all had chicken which was very good. Our sides were Mac n cheese, cornbread, slaw, and sweet potato mash. Everything was really tasty. We all had soft drinks and I have to say, the glasses were very small. Being as our server sort of disappeared we were only able to get one refill. Prices were reasonable. Will definitely go back.

   Our service was lacking and really had an effect on us going back. The server never brought our cocktails and we watched them sit at the bar. Finally, we asked the bartender if those were indeed our tables drinks and he apologized for our experience. Typically, I overlook bad service if the server appears very busy, but last night that was the case. The chicken appeared to be a rub and not breading. Being from the south, I think we expect fried chicken to be crunchy and heavily breaded. If that is your expectations, this restaurant is not for you. The mac and cheese was however, delicious! I think because of the bad service experience, we will not be returning.

   Worst place I have ever eaten greasy saggy chicken and fries the server didn’t even check on us after the food arrived they would not adjust my bill for the nasty food I would not recommend this place to a dog

   Great food and service, especially considering the value. Our server Will was very engaging and knew what recommendations to make. We’ll be back!

   Made a reservation for 6 people at 6pm. My good friend and his sister were visiting from Texas and asked me to pick a place to eat for our group. I thought about a number of options but wanted something my friends could not get in Texas. I I have been to the Eagle many times and love the food so I thought this was a great choice. Drinks came about 6:15-6:20. Food delivered about 6:50. Entire party was done eating about 7:20 and at 7:40, the manager asked us to leave because we were taking up a table they needed. That was a first in my life! We had only been finished eating for maybe 20 minutes and he is asking us to get out?! I have never been so offended and embarrassed. So sorry I picked this place to show my friends from Texas how Louisville treats our guests.

   In spite of some of the past reviews, we were in Louisville today and decided to give this location a try as it is right across from our son’s apartment. Normally we go to the Bardstown Road location. We had a reservation and were seated right away. The food was served hot and fresh and the food and mixed drinks were all delicious! I highly recommend their hush puppies for appetizer and their Mac and cheese. My salad and chicken were also perfect. We were glad we gave this location a try and will definitely be back!!

    Glad we had a reserved table. The crowd was full and constant. Food and drinks were fantastic, but service was extremely slow. My table mates became frustrated and I felt bad since the Eagle was my suggestion. Salads, chicken and grilled cheese are phenomenal. Two people in our group got shrimp and grits and could barely finish it because of the heat.
