We start with free range, all-natural Amish chicken. It’s brined, dredged, then dropped into custom-built fryers. It's got a little kick and is served with our house-made hot honey. But we don't stop there - Southern-style sides grace our menu, craft beer flows through our taps, and Blues music pumps through our speakers. At The Eagle, it's all about flying right, eating bird, and curing the Blues.

Dined here 02/15/2025. Never been to a two-story at the Eagle. The host was very friendly. I wished he was our waiter. Upstairs is huge either way a “party room” of sorts. BBQ pork burnt ends were dry and tough even with the sauce. Chicken was over overcooked and dry. Never have experienced bad food. We asked for to-go boxes and he brought us small ones and two plastic containers for sides. Asked for a third container for another side. I had for a small black plastic container of jam to take home. He brought an empty container so I scraped what jam I had left about 1/8 tsp. I poured a bit of honey on the chicken thinking he was going to irritated at having to get another container. We have been to The Eagle out of Ohio and another in Ohio. The two we frequent the servers anticipate the size of boxes related to the amount of food you have not eaten and give you extra containers with jam and honey, and the servers were always smiling. You could not tell they were having a bad day. Overall, we will not return to the Columbus restaurant although it might be okay for a large group in the party room. Still, we would prefer the other restaurants where they did accommodate our large groups before.

this was a valentine’s Day date for my boyfriend and i. our first date was here and we never get sick of it!

We had a wonderful time at the Eagle! I went with my two kiddos, who were very happy with their spoon bread appetizer, fried chicken, French fries, freshly sliced green apple, and on-tap root beer. I really enjoyed my cocktails (Negroni Sour) and winter salad with grilled shrimp. The portions were generous, the booths were spacious, and the service was kind. We will definitely head back again!

Individuals at the bar decided to vape even though it is illegal. Pretty sure the manager knew them and allowed it.

They were somehow out of drumsticks by 5pm on a friday? GM asked how how everything was and walked off before we could even answer, chicken wasnt crispy

Really strange seating. Restaurant was empty and had another couple share the booth with us? Food also seems to have gone down hill since our last visit and not sure if we will be back.

Missed the candied bacon appetizer that they used to have!!! Portion sizes small for coat. Food was wry goid though especially the biscuits.

I was a bit disappointed but the quality of the chicken. I assume this due to inflation more than anything. The chicken was pretty scrawny. I guess it’s been a minute since I’ve been there. Still pretty good hut not what I expected.
