Located proudly in the heart of Long Beach City, the Eldo - formerly known as the Eldorado - has been a staple in the LBC restaurant community since 1957.
Owned by South African native Trevor Nettmann since 2012 - the Eldo has been restored to its fullest potential & now boasts an eclectic menu of both American // South African fare.
With a sole focus on serving the highest quality food + craft cocktails & locally brewed craft beer - is passionate about cultivating both a local // international menu with an equally captivating atmosphere for each guest.

Great service by Aiden. Wonderful food and though noisy inside it was more tolerable outside. The beef Wellington was excellent.

Another great dinner at the Eldo! Friendly bar staff will pour you a drink while you wait for your table, and the wait staff are always helpful and cheerful and funny. This time our wonderful server Angie recommended the new halibut entrée— and she was 100% right. A big slab of halibut, herb-crusted and perfectly sautéed with a Dijon dill sauce, along with delicious garlic mashed potatoes and veggies…. Fantastic!!!

First time at this hidden gem, great food, great ambience and excellent service from my server Jesse....check it out, you won't be disappointed!

Had our wedding anniversary dinner here, treated amazing. Food was great, had the Wellington and Shepherds Pie as entrees and fried shrimp. Everything was fresh and fast. Also has the signature margaritas which were tasty, recommended for any occasion. Our server Jesse was great, made sure our food was perfect.

Loved appetizers at bar before being seated. Service was great and consistent. Food was very tasteful I had the pork chop and my wife had the beef Wellington. We will be visiting again soon and frequently. 👍🏽
