   The Elm Tree is one of only two or three eating venues around Wisbech that are decent enough to celebrate a family event or a place to take business visitors. The food was excellently presented and was very enjoyable. It is quite pricey but the quality justifies this, and which also perhaps prevents it becoming a run-of-the-mill pubgrub outlet. The service is fine - a little forgetful on drinks orders, but otherwise quite attentive. I would have no hesitation in visiting again. However - and I have witnessed this before here - there is far too much loud swearing in the bar area from (presumably) local 'lads', which can easily be overheard by diners in the upper restaurant tables to the side of the bar. This has to be stopped if the Elm Tree wishes to be considered a professional operation.

   Fantastic menu choices - something for everyone. The quality of food is excellent & presentation amazing. It's like dining at a 5 star restaurant but at very affordable prices. Great place to have a meal if you like good quality food.

   The staff were friendly and courteous. We had three different main courses and each was beautifully presented and very tasty. We have already seen different items on the menu we want to try on another visit.

   Phoned half hour before we were due to arrive to say we were going to be late and to add extra person it was no trouble whatsoever.The food was amazing there was 5 of us we all had different starters and mains I had the ribeye it melted in my mouth will definitely be back.I was too full for dessert but everyone else had some that looked really good thanks for a lovely night

   From the outset, a great experience. Never having been before, we can honestly say it was exceptional. The car park is large, well marked and well kept. Entering the bar we were warmly greeted and after ordering our drinks we were taken to our table in the restaurant. Throughout the meal the plentiful staff were happy, pleasant and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. A good varied menu and the food was delicious and plenty of it. The decor was good and everything spotlessly clean. Toilets were excellent. The chef made a point of coming out and visiting all the tables. What’s more it was very reasonably priced. We shall definitely return.

   All the starters, mains & desserts were fantastic. Quality & presentation of the food was superb & the service was friendly & attentive. Great venue to go to for excellent, well prepared & presented food at good prices.

    Couldn't fault a thing. Excellent roast dinner, Excellent service. Will definitely go again!
