We were seated at the 7pm reservation.Upon being seated the server introduced himself as JJ and then disappeared. Someone else did eventually come to our table and take our drink order and gave us plates to go to the buffet with.Once I got to the buffet, there was no chercutaerteri and I notified one of the guys standing and watching the buffet from behind. He immediately grabbed the board and said they would prepare another one…. Never happened,as I kept checking!I helped myself to some salad instead and sat down. Our drinks weren’t at our table,so once I finished my salad I had to walk over to someone to let them know that I felt our drinks weren’t forgotten. He checked into it and said that they would be right over as the bar was backed up.This is understandable, but no one came over to us to inform us and we felt forgotten about. We did get our drinks shortly after that conversation. The girl then noticed my plate was dirty and that perhaps I may be going up for more food.I was because I don’t like to pile everything onto one plate. She proceeded to grab a few plates clean plates for us.I grabbed a clean plate and went to get my entree.Slim pickings…..there were no sides left except for scalloped potatoes and some dried up duck, unless you wanted turkey (had enough).Very disappointing! The desserts were good, a bit sweet, but good. During this whole experience,I was going back and forth whether I should speak up now or write it in an email later.I decided to speak up then because the more I sat there, the more upset I got.Well I am glad I did,the server got the manager for us and I expressed my dissatisfaction with the food. He understood and apologized and took some money off our bill. The server came back and also apologized for our bad experience.Upon dropping off the check, the manager came over again and hoped that the monetary gesture would go along way in helping to give them another chance.Because he did that I would try their sit down service again but not buffet.

We thought we'd try Christmas dinner at a restaurant for the first time ever, so we picked The Emporium. The Christmas buffet was gross. The food was cold, bland, and the prime rib (well done) and turkey were way overcooked and dry, there was barely any options because they didn't restock the food that ran out, and they barely had any options for dessert that they were supposed to have on the menu. The charcuterie board was random scraps. Then, when walking out, they restocked the desserts, but it was too late. The waitress had zero personality, and a guy standing behind the buffet was rude when I asked him what a certain food item was. Overall, the experience wasn't worth $65/person AT ALL, especially with the food quality and barely any choices from not keeping the buffet stocked. We will not come back.

Nice atmosphere and the staff members were all friendly and helpful. We were disappointed in some of the food offerings. For example, brussels sprouts were charred and mostly leaves rather than the actual Brussels. The Farro salad was pretty flavorless. The Waldorf salad was amazing though. All in all, we would go back, but would temper our expectations.

We visited for the Christmas buffet. Food was excellent- they offered a variety to keep both meat eaters and vegetarians happy, although I would go back just for that desserts! We may make this a holiday tradition.

Food was pretty good, but service was horrible. Between drinks taking 20 minutes, and the food taking well over an hour, it wasn’t a pleasant experience at all. It was fairly obvious they were short handed, however there was O communication from the waitress, or anyone else that was there. Multiple tables around us were quite frustrated as well. This place has fairly good reviews overall, and maybe it was an off night. But honestly, it would be hard for me to recommend it to anyone after our experience.

Our family loves this place! We make a point of having a meal here every time we visit Fort Collins. We've also stayed in the hotel that is attached to it which is an excellent experience as well.

Over all food was pretty good. The sweet potatoes were completely raw. Turkey a little dry, but that's to be expected. Everything else was quite good.
