I took my British father here who is staying with me for the holidays. He loved it so much he ordered a dish to go 😂 he said it was “quite authentic”. Elle was our server and she was professional, polite, and well spoken. She was so skilled and kind even though we were there right before they closed. I felt bad about getting there late with traffic, but she never rushed us and was patient with our questions. Was so delightful, I can’t wait to go again with friends.

Beware of the $3.00 charge per person to share the 3 tiered varieties of food. It's enough to share, but you can't share. There's no extra plates or no extra work involved, you just can't share... lol!

Any time we visit my parents back home, my husband’s one request is tea at the English Tea Room. We love to sit in the Sanctuary Room and enjoy a few pots of tea (mostly Morning Rain) and some scones. They cater to food allergies and offer several gluten-free options. I’m very sensitive to gluten and have never gotten sick from cross-contamination. My mom joined us this time (her first of MANY future visits), and she enjoyed hot cocoa while we sipped on tea. She had the chicken salad sandwich and loved it. I had turkey on GF, and my husband had the Buckingham Bake. We also had hummus and GF crackers, and it was excellent. I highly recommend making a reservation and planning for at least an hour here. You’re not rushed, and they want you to enjoy your time. We cannot wait for our next visit! I

I fell in love with The English Tea Room. I call it my happy place and typically visit at least once a month. My favorite things to order are the Buckingham Bake, Petite Windsor, scones, and croissants. But I like everything I have tried so far. There are over 200 teas to choose from, so there really is something for everyone. I love the collection of English decorations and I notice that they change the decor often. There is always something new to discover. There are even tables outside in pretty gardens. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It is the perfect place to enjoy a nice meal and visit with friends.

Very disappointed - the food was awful. We had high tea and the sandwiches were awful - practically noting in the middle of the bread and mostly bread. The “crab cakes and shrimp” were tasteless.

Basically our experience was great. The only reason for the 4star rating instead of a 5, is that the sandwich bread in the high tea sandwiches was stale. I would have gently suggested to the waitress of this, but did not want to disturb the others in my group. But if I experience this next time, I will say something.
