Due to the Covid pandemic we have taken the decision to close Mondays for now so our staff can enjoy and have a break. Although this has been a challenging time for all restaurants we would like to thank you in understanding our decision by closing on Mondays. However, please stay tuned to any of our social media pages for updates on our reopening on on Mondays again! Thank you once again and stay safe!

Since 1991, the Epicurean has been devoted to the pursuit of sensual pleasure, especially to the enjoyment of great seasonal food and great local wines from Niagara's region with a true ambiance in our dining room and beautiful tucked-away garden patio.

Our traditional restaurant serves light meals, local wines and refreshments, Ideal for group tours, large parties or casual travelers looking to take a break and just want a light meal. Reservations are recommended

The Epicurean is a wonderful restaurant on so many levels. They provide a large choice of menu items, all of which are well prepared, well presented and priced reasonably, a rare experience these days. The restaurant has a beautiful open concept, allowing a large but uncrowded capacity with a surprisingly comfortable low sound level that allows undisturbed table conversation. I'm fortunate to eat there in all seasons, being able to enjoy their equally large outdoor patio space during the warmer months. They've even included outdoor/indoor options as part of their online reservation process, an example of their concern for detail and their customers. Obviously, I'm a fan but any friends that I've taken or to whom I've recommended the restaurant have only had similarly complimentary experiences. The service staff are very kind and attentively professional. They always introduce themselves and let you know they want you to enjoy your time dining with them.

This was our 1st visit back in 25 years. My husband ans I recall more or a quaint French cuisine style restaurant. Of course now it is more modern with a variety of choices for food. I had the seafood linguine which was very satisfying and tasting. My favorite though was the calamari and slightly spices sauce which was painted on the plate. We would ve enjoyed local live music 🎶 like a guitar player. However, we understand its off season too.

The seafood linguine and beet spinach salad was absolutely delicious. Shrimps , squid, mussels cooked perfectly topped by a lobster claw in a wonderful tomato sauce. A glass of perfectly chilled Rielsing and a cappuccino to enhance the dinner experience. Great way to celebrate new years eve.

Excellent food and service. Great staff. What sets it aside from other restaurants in NOTL is the variety and number of choices on the menu plus several daily specials also. Another good feature is the wine list that includes non Ontario wines which is a pleasant change. Just a great place to spend an evening as a couple or with a group.
