Voted "The Best Newcomer" restaurant at the recent May 2023 Food Reader Awards, The Farm Table is all about taking food off the farm & into the fire, celebrating the simplicity of beautiful ingredients grown, reared, caught & crafted on our doorstep.

We aim to get as much from our farm onto your table as possible and if it’s not from our farm it’s from our vibrant community of like-minded artisan food producers, farmers & fisherman who share our passion.

Open everyday 12pm-3pm for lunch and evenings on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday 6pm-9pm

A disappointing lunch that did not match the menu description. The promised cauliflower steak was served as florets, the potato was absent from the piccalilli and the dish was served tepid. We sent it back and it returned no warmer, but with a message from the chef that it was supposed not to be hot. Dish was £19 - not good value. The piccalilli was flavoursome, but the spices on the cauliflower ‘steak’ were lacking. Our disappointment was perhaps because we did not get what we were expecting, because if it had been accurately described, we would have said it was a tasty cauliflower floret dish, although we would not have been happy to pay £19 for a medium plate of salad.

Very nice meal and very good service. We had the cauliflower steak which was very good and the hake and pheasant. Deserts were very tasty too.

I’ve eaten here twice and the food has been excellent on both visits. The Sunday roast is delicious! The staff are also very good.
