Voted "The Best Newcomer" restaurant at the recent May 2023 Food Reader Awards, The Farm Table is all about taking food off the farm & into the fire, celebrating the simplicity of beautiful ingredients grown, reared, caught & crafted on our doorstep.

We aim to get as much from our farm onto your table as possible and if it’s not from our farm it’s from our vibrant community of like-minded artisan food producers, farmers & fisherman who share our passion.

    Great food but ordering anything was extremely slow waited 30 mins to do a food and drinks order

    Excellent evening with fabulous food and fantastic customer service. Would thoroughly recommend. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable and service is prompt.

    Great place to eat, visiting family loved it. The quality of the food and service set a high bar.

    Wow , wow wow Probably the best dining experience I’ve had , superb service and hosting we we’re really looked after what a team you have , food was amazing setting was beautiful and they went way above and beyond with how they looked after us . Can’t recommend enough, made a perfect valentines Evening. 8 stars from us both Paula and Simon

    We were very disappointed with our food, my husband ordered the roast Sunday lunch and I the nut roast. The roast potatoes were hard, the red cabbage was swimming in liquid which made the nut roast soggy, the Yorkshire pudding covered the plate and was inedible. As we had been waiting for what appeared to be a long time for our main course, I believe our food had been left on the hot plate for some time before being served to us.

    We had the most delicious meal from starters to pudding. Beautifully cooked and fantastic combinations . Service was excellent even at the busiest of times on Saturday lunch. Best meal we’ve had in Devon for a long time.

    Food was fantastic. Service was a little slow but it was busy. Servers where extremely pleasent. Was advised for next time that you can order a single person sized tomohawk steak if you let them know ahead of time which I wasn’t aware of and will definitely do next time.

    We had an issue with the ordering which they dealt with in an exemplary way. Shall definitely return - it is one of our regular eating spots
