Voted "The Best Newcomer" restaurant at the recent May 2023 Food Reader Awards, The Farm Table is all about taking food off the farm & into the fire, celebrating the simplicity of beautiful ingredients grown, reared, caught & crafted on our doorstep.

We aim to get as much from our farm onto your table as possible and if it’s not from our farm it’s from our vibrant community of like-minded artisan food producers, farmers & fisherman who share our passion.

Open everyday 12pm-3pm for lunch and evenings on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday 6pm-9pm

It was the first time we had been here and it has been built onto the side of the farm shop and although it’s been decorated nicely it was very cold and felt like you were in more of a farm shop cafe than a restaurant as it hasn’t been fully cut off. The menu is super limited with there only being 2 steaks on the menu (we had been recommended for steak which is why we went) and a sharing steak, no ribeye for a single person was available. I had a filet steak which was nice and came with a generous portion of chips, but my nan ordered the venison that was only 50p less than my steak and the portion was pathetic! I actually shared my chip with her because the portion was so small, and for £37.50 you’d expect more! Pudding options were disappointing considering the farm shop have an excellent selection of desserts on their deli counter. We would return for pizza as they were really reasonably priced and looked delicious. I felt this place is typical darts farm, charging the earth for average stuff.

Excellent food, really friendly service. Served by a few different people but it was busy and this was absolutely fine. Busy and loud - my husband didn't realise there was any music until the crowd thinned out and the room quietened down! But as it was new years eve, busy was to be expected!

This cosy laid back eatery never ever disappoints. Great service, delicious seasonal menu, and a warm welcome every single time. Super friendly team.

We had lunch yesterday. Great menu sadly crab and pheasant not available but still plenty of choice. Fish was excellent and steak (rare) cooked to perfection. Generous portion sizes. Staff were all fantastic , a very happy team who were all helpful and efficient and smiley.

The service was amazing. I had the scallops to start fresh and well cooked. The beetroot starter was well presented and flavours well twinned. The venison and steak prepared to request and the extra garlic mayo was the best ever tasted. Cocktails and pebbledbed sparkling rose spectacular. Artic Roll desert so yummy pared with the Artic cocktail a treat not to miss. Overall the best meal since they have opened. Better than Lympstone Manor.
