The Fat Badger restaurant offers an exquisite dining experience in the heart of Harrogate. The restaurant serves superb quality AA rosette food in elegant surroundings.
Dining during Monday - Thursday your table is likely to be allocated into our bar area.
Tables for our bar on weekends and outdoor patio all the time can not be booked in advance and are offered on a first come first served basis.
Dogs are welcome if customers are happy to dine in our outdoor areas.

Very good restaurant, staff friendly with good service skills. The food was of a high quality. Will use again when back up in Harrogate.

Excellent location, a great spot for a family get together, good food, friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Our waiter was second to none he did well with the challenges of serving a large group with age ranges from 22 to 84 and their demands. All done with professionalism and a touch of humour. Would recommend a visit as a good variety of food to suit all tastes as well as good quality. We had a great evening which set us up for the next day which was the special reason why we were visiting Harrogate.

Tentative staff in a relaxing environment. The food is gorgeous and so is the setting.

Very busy restaurant, plenty of attentive staff. Service was good and efficient. Food was very tasty, two things that I object to: 1/ The dish description didn’t mention the vegetables served with the dish other than the potato, implying that you need extra vegetables (side order) when you actually don’t! 2/ Our lamb dish came with a very small amount of jus, so we asked for some more to accompany our dish and for this treat we we’re charged an additional £1. It isn’t the amount, it is the principle of trying to squeeze additional money out of the customer who is already paying substantial prices for his/her meal. For this reason I will not be returning or recommending the Fat Badger to anyone!

We ate in the Fat Badger Restaurant, the staff were very friendly and professional. The Sunday lunch was delicious. The restaurant was delightful with a lovely atmosphere

We were staying in the hotel and didn’t want to go out. So we booked a table in the Fat Badger restaurant and we had a lovely night with really nice food and the service was great
