   I chose fish and chips which took longer than expected to arrive. The fish was tough and luke warm as were the fries. My guest had the pie which was very good. I did not send my meal back because I did not wish to disrupt an important meeting. I explained the problem to the staff once my guest had gone.They dealt with the problem very professionally and offered to discount the bill.

   We always love coming here for our Sunday dinner. Service is amazing, the staff are friendly and nothing is ever too much trouble. Can’t wait to come back.

   It was my first time at the Fifield Inn. Me and my wife booked for a Sunday roast, the food was lovely, probably the best roast dinner we've had compared to other local pubs and restaurants in the area, I cant fault service, and the staff were very helpful. The pub was packed and very noisy so probably not the place to go of you want a quiet Sunday lunch, but the place to go if you want a great Sunday Lunch.

   Four of us in for lunch and every dish was excellent. Venison sausages, cheese and bacon burger and a Thai chicken green curry. Two of us had the brioche bread & butter pudding. With drinks and coffees plus tip it was £37.50 per head which was good value. Service was very good, friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The atmosphere was just right for a Saturday afternoon, relaxed and the sound of people chatting and enjoying themselves.

   We had a lovely meal at the Fifield Inn, we had gone early as we have young children so it was quiet but that suited us. The food was lovely with good options on the menu making it hard to decide what to have. Service was great with special mention to the lady who showed us to our table and served us for the first half of the meal before her shift ended. She couldnt do enough to help and was really nice. Unfortunatly we were visiting as part of a holiday so wont be able to come back as soon as we would like to, but definatly will next time we are in the area

   Delightful pub, tastefully decorated and very friendly staff. A great interesting menu and food was excellent. Will definitely return.

    Excellent meal in cozy surroundings, friendly staff. Enjoyed a tasty Sunday lunch with the best cauliflower cheese I’ve had in a long time. The bruschetta starter and bread and butter pudding were great too. Would definitely come again. Gave all 5 stars but only 4 stars for the value, it’s probably my fault the meal was so expensive as I had two glasses of wine and a cocktail and we do live in an expensive area when it comes to eating out! Will definitely return and maybe share a bottle of wine next time rather than more expensive glasses.
