Review summary

AI-generated from verified diner reviews
The Fillmore offers a delightful Italian dining experience with "delicious" food like spaghetti and meatballs or lobster ravioli. While service can be inconsistent, "excellent" servers elevate the experience. The venue is perfect for pre-show dinners, and standout dishes like the mushroom pizza and bruschetta are highly recommended.

Our table booked a pre-theater dinner reservation at 4:30 prior to seeing a show at the theater beginning at 7:00, and yet we nearly missed our show. Waitstaff seemed to not care about our concerns about time and how quickly our food was coming out, charged each of the 4 of us incorrectly regarding the food we had ordered, and charged us for food that was not delivered to our table. Will not be returning for another pre-theater dinner experience.

Breakfast was better than dinner. It's a nice space, with a bar and a back area. Understaffed, folks working very hard. Food is mediocre. But it's also modestly priced.

We ordered the Fillmore chopped salad, chicken bacon artichoke pizza, lobster ravioli, and chicken giardiniera. While the chopped salad and pizza were enjoyable, the lobster ravioli and chicken giardiniera were lackluster, lacking in flavor and depth. Each meal was supposed to be served with garlic bread, but it didn’t arrive with the food. When it finally came out, it was the kind of bread you’d expect to find in the freezer section of a grocery store—disappointing for an Italian restaurant. For a restaurant claiming to serve Italian cuisine, the quality of both the food and service fell short. If you’re able to secure a reservation elsewhere, I’d recommend doing so and keeping this spot as a backup option only.

We went before Brett Eldridge concert. Had reservations. Seated quickly. That was prob the best part. Our waitress acted annoyed the whole time and my husband ordered a Sam Adam’s and she said she didn’t think that we could get draft been. And asked what else what he wanted. My husband looked around and saw others w draft been so asked her to check . She came back and said he could so he ordered and we also ordered a nice bottle of wine. Had to ask for his beer 2 times. When we ordered our food. She told me they did not have the ravioli entre I wanted. So then I ordered the chicken parm. My husband ordered at chicken Alfredo . She then came back in 15 min w a menu and said that they were out of fettuccine Alfredo and he needed to find something else . The menus only had 10 entrees . It did have pizza and a few salads and sandwiches but as far as entrees there were only 10 so you were not able to order 1/5’of the entree menu . We ended up Just splitting the chicken parmigiana. When I believe who we think was them Manager came Over he said he would go back and get the chicken parm ( but it sure how he was going to g to do that when it was not available) ? Just not a great wxperiemce and we just stuck w then1 entree . He did comp some of the bill but what a bummer start to what was supose to be A festive night

Indifferent and low energy describes this restaurant. Menu doesn't indicate gf options and server didn't know what to recommend besides a yogurt parfait... for lunch. Not expecting a dedicated gf menu or kitchen, but I also don't want to have to panic find a bathroom when Christmas shopping! Food and environment is average. Wouldn't go back when there are so many better options in the loop.

The food and atmosphere was great, but my party and I were disappointed in the quality of service—the staff seemed to be disorganized even though the dining room was not busy. We ordered drinks and they seemed to have lost the order for one so it took 20 minutes for them to not realize and I finally spoke up to tell the server that we didn’t have it. But overall it was fine, just service hiccups.
