My girlfriend had always wanted to try the food here, so I booked a table for valentines. We left before the final course. The service was poor. Very long waiting times for food that was very poor quality. A very chewy steak and raw chips. Will not be going back

My favourite local place to eat, really nice food and good service. Such a shame you have to queue up behind people buying drinks at the bar in order to Report in and get seated at your booked table. We had a 12 minute wait,

booked table thru app and arrived at the restaurant to be told no booking and would have to wait for over an hour for a table... Even when I showed them the app booking they did not offer an alternative... I had 2 young children so waiting for over an hour wasn’t possible... Really disappointing and not sure would use again

we arrived and our table was ready for us with the lake view as requested. we ordered starters, pate (2x), soup and garlic mushrooms and a round of drinks. the main s were a ham hock, ham egg and chips and fish and chips (2x). all were excellent, hot and the best chips we have tasted. service was friendly and efficient. well done fishers pond.
