                            Fishmongers’ Tavern with a £1 meal deal still represents incredible value. However, in comparison with the same deal pre-Christmas where the fish of the day was haddock the cod fillets were small, dry, overcooked and the chips were again, tired, overcooked, a much smaller portion. Consistency isn’t quite there yet. The restaurant manager does an incredible job managing and serving all of the customers who are eating. Well done to her.

                            The food was excellent, the service excellent and our dog was as equally spoilt. The snug was very tempting, but if we sat by the fire I think we would all would have fallen asleep

                            Great Sunday Roast, good choice of food from the usual menu as well. Everything freshly cooked and piping hot. Service was excellent, would recommend.
