Welcome to the Fleece Inn, Bretforton.
The Fleece Inn is the perfect rural retreat, the quintessential English country pub. Just a stone's throw from the beautiful Cotswolds and boasting roaring open fires for the winter months, open garden and apple orchard for the summer sun and a friendly welcome all year round.
With real ales and ciders aplenty this historical pub is a favourite with Real Ale lovers, and the welcoming atmosphere and good food attract visitors from all over the world.
Seasonal and local ingredients are prized, including our famous Asparagus menu in Spring.

Reservable tables are in the pub (standard) or undercover in our orchard (outdoor). There are lots of orchard picnic tables that are not reserved in advance, available for eating and drinking in the sunshine! Dogs are welcome throughout the pub & orchard.

Excellent food, great beer, with a good choice of real ale, open fires and dog friendly. Beautiful old building, helpful efficient staff, friendly locals . Definitely recommend booking as it was full for most of the evening on a Thursday.

What an amazing lunchtime experience. A fantastic old building with so much history. The food was excellent and the service perfect and very attentive. We will definitely return in May when we are back in the area. It's a must ! don't miss out if you are visiting the area.

A busy afternoon in between Christmas and NYE but we got a table and the staff were great. We even managed to get one of the festive pies even though it wasn’t on the Sunday menu! We love the Fleece and it’s worth the journey from Birmingham for their food.

Our annual Christmas trip to the Fleece was as great as ever! We were sat by the cosy open fire and the decorations were beautiful. Food superb with great veggie and vegan choices

End to end a perfect Anniversary experience. Whilst preserving the ambiance of a past era in the building itself the food and service is all you would wish for in a top gastro pub. Staff are welcoming and attentive even when faced with our large friendly pooch. The food was excellent, particularly the seasonal dinner with exceptionally tasty and moist turkey in abundant thick slices with all the trimmings. Will be coming back soon.
