Beautiful atmospheric old pub. Friendly staff and terrific Sunday roast. Wye Valley bitter and a very passable Merlot. What is not to like

This pub is famous for its pies and they didn’t disappoint. Good service alongside the excellent food despite it being a busy Friday evening. The tables are rustic and pretty close together but it’s a busy historic pub so it’s what you expect. Good choice of beer.

The Fleece is not only a very old old favourite with us, it housed within very old, original building. You scan virtually sit within the main fireplace, which has witchcraft signs on the floor. You dine on and around much of the original 17th century furniture used by the family that occupied the building before it became a pub - great history, great ambience and Nigel the Landlord makes this a place where many events happen with a true Cotswold welcome. BEST PUB ON WORCESTERSHIRE BY FAR!

Sunday Roast Lunch, Beef. Poorly presented. Gravy thin and tasteless. Beef too thin to cut. Vegetables sloppy and few of them. Yorkshire pudding burnt on the outside undercooked on the inside.

Lovely old pub with open fires and great ambience. Five of us shared a table to eat here on Friday and Saturday evening. We were part of a very large group all down for a musical weekend, so the Fleece staff were very busy. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, despite being under pressure. The food was piping hot and we all had decent-sized portions. No complaints, and we’ll be back again next year!
