Situated next to Harvey Nichols, The Flying Duck offers a funky feel yet maintains a cosy atmosphere with great prices.

2 hours before my Christmas booking they a person rang to say their manager asked them to call as the kitchen was now closing at 6pm would we come in early and the bar was closing at 7pm despite the fact l had been in the day before to confirm that all our friends could join us for a drink after dinner. No explanation and total lack of consideration. DON'T BOOK THIS RESTAURANT

The food was excellent. One of our party was in a wheelchair and the waitress was extremely attentive and looked after all our requests. I would highly recommend this restaurant and service

I had booked for 3 of us a few weeks ago, however although I received a confirmation from you the previous day when we arrived the restaurant was closed as it was a Thursday I think it now is only open at weekends but we weren’t informed. We went yesterday the 7th November’24

Low energy service. It took over 50 minutes to serve one course in an almost empty restaurant

The whole experience not good red marker on table chairs dirty food cold , and staff need proper training

We had a very enjoyable meal at the Flying Duck with excellent service. Also, we experienced very good customer service to accommodate limited dining days.

Dinner with my dad for his birthday great sport. Service was great too not the first time here our waitress was a lovely young Brazilian woman who I met the last time I was at the flying duck too. She’s great had a lovely conversation with her before leaving and sad to hear she’s will no longer be working here as she’s such a ray of sunshine best of luck to her in her future and will definitely be back to try some more delicious food at the flying duck

The Flying Duck is a beautiful space overlooking Dundrum Town Centre.. lovely plush seats.. high airy ceilings.. air conditioning .. choice of tables.. lovely buzz but reasonably quiet. Service was friendly and efficient… nothing was too much trouble. Food was tasty and served quickly. We were offered an a la carte menu with a clever twist … dishes that bore a tiny shamrock icon could be claimed from the Taste of Ireland menu ie 2 courses for €19 or 3 courses for €30. I had a delicious mocktail before my starter of ham and duck terrine. My friend had 2 starters which were equally delicious.. pea and ham soup and a duck and watermelon salad. All very reasonably priced. My only gripe? Bring back the arancini! We’ll be back! 5 stars all round.
