The food was amazing, the service was great, and the ambiance was true and authentic to Western heritage. Something this state is lacking. Great job to the Fort staff!!!! Keep it up!!!

We had an unforgettable Valentine's Day dinner at The Fort in Morrison, Colorado. The ambiance was charming, with warm adobe fireplaces and breathtaking views of the valley and mountains. The service was impeccable, and the menu offered a unique selection of "New Foods of the Old West," including buffalo, elk, and quail, all perfectly cooked. The romantic setting and delicious food made our evening truly special. Highly recommended for a memorable dining experience!

Had a great dinner experience. The service was great, food tasty and prepared as asked and even selected a nice wine that was “on sale”. Nothing but five stars for this visit, kudos.

We had a really lovely Valentine’s Day dinner here last night. I had the special pre fixe menu, which included salad, buffalo steak, lobster tail, and chipotle chocolate cake. It was a great value and very high quality. Our server was attentive and kind. We were seated by the adobe fireplace, which was nice and warm. Would definitely recommend coming here for a special meal!

We always have a good time at The Fort. The sausage platter was great. I got the Valentine’s Day Special and my husband got the Game Platter. Both were very good. The service from our server, Shannon, was excellent. Our only disappointment this trip is that they ran out of the Bourbon cake for dessert (one of the main reasons I chose the Vday Special) and the other dessert we substituted was terrible. It was extremely busy being a holiday, so the table they gave us was loud and terrible. We will definitely be back, but not again for a holiday.

Another great meal at The Fort. Those ribs looked like they came from a Dinosaur! Must be a foot long and tons of meat, just how I like it!

Only down side, we had reservations for two. We were sat in the back bar area at a tiny table RIGHT next to one of (2) exterior doors. It was Valentine’s Day, so very busy. The staff kept using that door to cut through the outside versus walking through the busy restaurant to save time (I get it, but), it was literally freezing and windy every time it opened, along with other diners coming in early to have a cocktail before their reservations. The bartender was our waitress, she was absolutely amazing, food was good. Was just bummed that we got a cold small bar table for having reservations.

Great vibe, great food and amazing service! We ordered the jalapeño poppers for an appetizer and they were delicious following that I got the Gonzales steak and my husband got the bison ribs. Literally melted in your mouth we followed that up with the tart for dessert and it was perfection.
