   Having enjoyed such an excellent roast a few weeks ago I booked to go again. This time with two friends who live locally but had not been to the pub before. I was again not dissappointed. The best roast in Sussex in my opinion. Excellent value for money. The ambiance lovely in this old pub. The food was amazing. An abundance of freshly cooked vegetables. Lovely crispy roast potatoes with a fluffy interior. Large portion of meat. The service is excellent. Attentive polite staff. Easy to park in large car park and lovely gardens in which we had a pre lunch drink. I can’t wait to return.

   Fabulous roast dinner, the best cauliflower cheese we’ve ever had, the wine selection was great, we have eaten there before so this was our 3rd visit, we live in Shoreham by sea so locally and in Sussex we have a huge selection but The Fountain is definitely in our top 5

   Really lovely traditional pub with open fire-made very welcome by all the staff which was lovely. Celebrating my Mum's 91st birthday and she loved it. Food and service were excellent. Will definitely be back.

   Came for Sunday lunch and really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. The staff were attentive and very polite. The food was very good, we ordered the roast beef and a nut wellington both if which came with green veg, huge roast potatoes cooked to perfection (crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside) and a parsnip puree which was delicious. Puddings were a decent size too! We also ordered the house red which was very drinkable. Overall a really nice lunch in a beautiful old pub. I’d recommend - we plan to return.

   As always, superb food and excellent service. Thank you for making our visit so special. We booked to celebrate a 60th birthday, a good time was had by all. Would thoroughly recommend this venue for a great group get together with delicious food, great value for money.
