We booked last minute for lunch. Enjoyable experience, it was not busy so we were served quickly. Lovely hostess served us. Great food too.

Really good Sunday lunch and ribeye steak. Real homemade feel about it. Amazing value given today’s overpriced food at most pubs. Pleasant surprise.

Very friendly, attentive and helpful staff. Venue was clean and well presented. I wasn’t a fan of my chorizo pizza dish (too much cheese), but I think the rest of my family were happy with their meals.

Had a nice welcome Although we had booked we were put in a large cold back room with no one else apart from a small girl playing on her iPad. Right near end some other people came in with a big dog Cutlery was thrown onto the table One person did keep coming in asking if things were ok Food was good Obviously they do not want new customers Will not be going back

HI I'm a little frustrated with your review. You booked on line 5 mins before you arrived. You were seated in the barn restaurant area, if we had a longer time to know about booking the seating situation would have been different. I doubt the cutlery was thrown on the table. Never seen this in any restaurant, and certainly not there You gave us a 3 on food that you said in your review was good. Value 1, Not sure how you arrived at that as we are very keenly priced. Service 2 although you were constantly checked on?? We have lots of new customers and they return so we must be doing something right. I would suggest you don't write reviews if they are not going to be accurate.

Only issue this time was my order was forgotten , so meal come out much later than the rest of the table . Will not stop me returning . Was just one of those things. It was busy . Food great as always .

Superb cod snd chips yesterday. Previous Sunday the roast lamb dinner also excellent. Lamb was so tender. If food and service are good customers will always return.

The menu didn't match what I found on the website but, it was still lovely. I also didn't get quite what I ordered but again what came was lovely. (Saturday lunchtime menu is now brunch). My friend was very impressed with her lunch too
