Lunch menu was starters, wraps/paninis and burgers. Beef burger delicious and homemade. Chicken burger was moist and tasty. Bread and butter pudding and custard was delicious, just like Nan used to make.

Wow what an amazing time we both had at The Fox pub. I can’t fault anything, beautiful surroundings, great service and staff and the roast was absolutely delicious, good value too. We will definitely be coming back soon to try the rest of the menu. Definitely give this place a visit !

The food was nice but the tables were too close together. couldn't get into the toilet without asking a table to move to get the door open. Menu wasn't good, only roast on a Sunday! Service not great, food came but no cutlery. No mint sauce to go with lamb! I was offered horseradish or apple sauce...

Hi Caroline, we are truly sorry to hear about your disappointment with your meal and experience on Sunday. We offer only a Sunday roast on a Sunday as we wouldn't like to compromise the quality of the food served. We are a small team cooking everything fresh which is very important to us. We understand that the placement of the larger table on Sunday may have been inconvenient for those using the services. We will be sure to take this feedback into consideration going forward. We ran out of mint sauce but we have since stocked up and will always have this to offer, sorry about this. I believe our staff apologised for this also. Food and service were good, the pub was extremely cold, only one other couple dining at the time, lack of atmosphere.

The service was poor, we had to wait over an hour for three Sunday roasts. The food was poor, not presented well at all and was expensive for what it was. We ate in the garden which was very scruffy and needed tidying up. The inside of the pub is not appealing at all and desperately needs a refurb.

Great food. - Always look forward to eating here. - The current offerings of beers isn’t as good as it used to be, but food makes up for that. - Best pub in Buntingford!
