   Fab experience as usual. Staff are great and food delicious. The place has such a nice feel. Only small issue this time round was that the party before is on our allocated table were late finishing up so we had a delay of about 10 mins standing in the doorway. No problem that night but might have been on another if we had have had later on that evening.

   The French Quarter remains one of the top three restaurants in Newcastle. A warm, welcoming atmosphere and knowledgeable, friendly staff are the first impression one receives. Food is exquisitely presented and a comprehensive wine list compliments the experience. I find that I frequently do not have enough superlatives to describe The French Quarter, a 'must go' for food lovers and foodies alike.

   Great atmosphere and fantastic food and drink, thoroughly enjoyed it. The price means it is definitely for special occasions, otherwise would be there a lot more often!

   I took a French person to dine and was extremely disappointed with the Beef Bourgogne was more like a beef stew as it had no Lardon, no shallots, no mushrooms like a traditional French dish. The waitress accosted us on the way out as she gave us the wrong bill. The manager then got involved and eventually worked out that there was no difference between our bill and the one we were given. Not a great dining experience.

   Loved it, been before and will come back again, perfect venue for a long boozy lunch and catch up with old friends. Waiting staff attentive without being intrusive and couldn’t pick fault with any of the food and drinks 10/10!

   From start to finish the whole evening was a delight. My wife & i shared the Pork Rillettes, our friends shared the duck breast and the baked fig dish, both excellent. For Mains we had Tartiflette, the bavette steak & trout, again all excellent. To drink we had the Picpoul. The staff were all brilliant. Many thanks to all.
