    Food and service was good and prompt. My only qualm was with the portion size of the delicious cheddar biscuits and gravy.

    The experience was out of this world. Understandably my boyfriend and I weren’t able to get a reservation for Valentine’s Day so we set one for the day after. We were seated quickly in a cozy booth in a beautifully decorated room. We started with the oysters - the mignonette was delightful! We also shared the steak tartare which we were a little intimidated by at first but really enjoyed. Before dinner I had the professional martini and it really was the perfect drink, followed by their Robert Pampignac Brut with dinner - my boyfriend usually only drinks beer and he said it was unreal! For the main course my boyfriend ordered the venison burger and I ordered the scallops. Both of us were wowed by the quality and flavors of our entrees, everything was perfectly cooked! Our server Iryna was friendly and attentive, she has waited on me in the past and it was such a treat to be served by her again. The Gage has become our favorite restaurant. We can’t wait to visit again!

    Restaurant seem cramped and staff was fine but not outstanding when compared to the price point.

    The service and food was exceedingly average. The server took quite a bit of time to address us after seating, the food warm when it should have been hot, and the value was poor. Would not go back.

    My husband and I had a delightful pre concert dinner (5:30) at a perfect pace. The Scotch egg was far better than any I have had in the UK. Perhaps there was too much béarnais on the lobster, but it was good béarnais and perfectly cooked lobster. Hubby’s coq au vin was excellent- rich and succulent. Service was quick and efficient. It’s a huge place and I wasn’t anticipating much, but the Gage far exceeded my expectations.
