Under the direction of celebrated Michelin-starred chef, Lisa Goodwin-Allen, The Game Bird is inspired by great seasonal, British produce and the bustle of historic St James’s. Together, Lisa and Executive Chef Jozef Rogulski have created a menu overflowing with an innovative combination of familiar favourites and delicious surprises.
Simplicity and elegance lead the way; enjoy the finest seasonal ingredients, in simple yet creative dishes, with relaxed, attentive service, in a stylish and comfortable setting.

All Day Dining (Mon-Sun) between 12pm and 9pm.
Breakfast from 7am-10:30am (Mon-Fri) and from 7:30am-11am (Sat & Sun)
Afternoon Tea from 12 – 5.30pm daily (please note that if you have any dietary preferences, please advise us a minimum of 24h prior to you booking. Requests outside this time period or on the day may not be accommodated due to availability of produce)

Terrible experience, we waited 15 minutes to be seated, not even acknowledged. We had to ask for the food menu, then again for the drinks, then again to order. No main courses for 1 hour 15 minutes and then the table next to us complained. They then got served first. Complete terrible service, we had to walk out. Toilets were dirty and when we complained to the duty manager, she sadly rolled her eyes. Do not recommend to book, this place used to be good but gone down hill.

Excellent traditional upmarket restaurant with a modern take on great classical food. Service exemplary, sommelier excellent, ambience perfect.

Delicious lunch as always and an impromptu tour of the wine cellar! Excellent service!

The food was ok but given the cost I didn’t consider it good value. The service was pretty poor we waited ages for the menu then had to constantly chase up service after that, too shes to submit an order etc. The restaurant wasn’t particularly busy and there was plenty of staff but to get their attention was difficult

We had a magical Christmas lunch at Game Bird. Our meal was delicious and the service was impeccable. We enjoyed the champagne cart and we had the smoked salmon and oysters as starters and our main courses were the potato pancake and the chicken Kiev; both were prepared expertly. We traveled from Florida and would certainly return on our next trip.

Next to Green Park, this restaurant embodies the essence of fine English cuisine, showcasing the best local and seasonal ingredients. Wine and Service: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 A special mention must go to the Head Sommelier, Eugenio, whose expertise and passion for wine truly enhanced our experience! Ambiance: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 The atmosphere is elegant yet welcoming, with soft lighting. We will definitely come back!

We enjoyed a Sunday evening dinner at The Game Bird. The Sunday roast is only available until about 3 pm, so I had the Duck Wellington and my husband had scallops. Everything was delicious and we had a nightcap in the adjoining bar. Overall, a lovely last evening for us in London.
