   First visit with my husband, and it couldn’t have been better! We had a fantastic Christmas night filled with amazing drinks, a cozy and festive ambiance, and delicious food. The lobster roll and oysters were my favorites—truly outstanding!

   It is very disappointing to be writing this review given we finally got in for Christmas Eve after seeing it takes months to get a reservation at The Garden Room. Firstly, the restaurant is as beautiful as everyone described. To start with the positives, the cocktails and appetizers were delicious, especially the ribs and the cucumber salad. We proceeded to order three pasta entrees and the $300 tomahawk ribeye as a splurge. We then proceeded to wait an hour and forty-five minutes for our food. I expected a wait but it got to the point of awkward and the server and manager acknowledging there was a problem in the kitchen Once arriving, the ribeye was good, however, two of the three pastas were unflavorful and lukewarm (mushroom pillow pasta and the tableside carbonara). The seafood risotto was better flavor wise, not very warm, and nothing exceptional. The mushroom pillow pasta was the most disappointing and came in a serving so small we had to ask if they brought an appetizer portion - the dish was literally three inches in diameter. The manager did attempt to make things right by comp'ing two entrees and bringing three complimentary desserts which were all delicious . All of that said, we spent $600 on a disappointing experience and at some point it is not about the money but the waste of time and the letdown on what should have a been a special occasion. I would suggest that you save your fine dining splurge for somewhere else that is consistent and just get drinks and appetizers or dessert at the bar. Again, we appreciated the manager's concern however we won't be taking a chance by going back.

   Great family outing to celebrate two birthdays including the birth of the risen King! Adam took great care of us. We will make this our annual Christmas Eve tradition! ❤️🎄❤️

   The Garden Room is a beautiful setting. We had dinner to celebrate a girlfriend’s birthday, and while we had a nice time, I’m not sure we had the level of attention & service that might be expected for the price. We order pasta carbonara which has a lovely table side presentation but the pasta was lukewarm at best. It was also hard to hear our server. We also waited at times for a server to come by especially towards the end of our meal. It was nothing bad, we just expected a slightly higher attention to detail for the price level.

    I had high hopes for our visit to the Garden Room. Unfortunately, we were underwhelmed and disappointed. Great customer service. The restaurant is a nice place to take pictures. I didn’t expect to get large portions of food but I did expect to have flavorful food. Our brunch order: Lobster omelet, French Toast, Short ribs and Wagyu steak & grits. The lobster omelet was literally a folded plain egg with pieces of lobster meat inserted within the folds- topped with a lobster claw and sauce. The sauce was delicious but I expected the lobster to be mixed within the egg batter. The short ribs were tender but they must have only been seasoned with salt and pepper. The sauce was okay- seems to be hints of jalapeño. The French toast was very good but definitely not worth $22 for ONE slice of bread. Now for the most expensive item - $60 bucks…. The Wagyu steak was difficult to cut with a knife. The texture was chewy- not in a good way. Lacked flavor. We couldn’t even finish it. The grits were okay. As someone who dines at a large amount of restaurants at various price points, this one really was disappointing considering the prices and popularity. I would only recommend this restaurant if you want nice pictures and while you’re there- keep it simple with a drink and one dish.
